WS Series 'Autoflow' Valves Just like the YR series, the WS series automatic balancing valves are designed for larger water pipe sizes from 2-1/2" all the way to 30" diameter. The WS series come in two types of body. One is the ductile iron and the other is fabricated steel body. WS ductile iron body comes in sizes from 2-1/2" to 14" diameter and designed for maximum operating pressure of 600 psig (4136 kPa) maximum and water temperature of 250 deg. F (120 deg. C). WS fabricated steel body comes in sizes from 16" to 30" diameter and designed for maximum operating pressure of 225 psig (1551 kPa) and maximum water temperature of 250 deg. F (120 deg. C). They are factory calibrated to limit the water flow automatically to within 5% of specified amount.
