Wet bulb conditions in the space are controlled in two ways:
1 If the environment is over humidity, the Lennox CTC switches
into the dehumidification mode. This is accomplished by the system changing blower speeds
while continuing to cool. If the space temperature drops below the desired
level, the Nichrome wire low watt density heaters are brought in, in stages to
maintain the desired dry bulb.
2 If the environment is under humidity, the CTC will
automatically switch into humidification mode, by bringing on the replaceable
canister steam generator humidifier.
CTC is a microprocessor based upflow or downflow system that is capable of maintaining your space at ± 1.8, ±3% humidity
Maintaining continuous conditioning is the critical element in protecting large computer systems. CTC is designed to provide cooling even if one component of the system should fail. Blowers evaporators and condenser sections are all microprocessor controlled, and the compressors are set up for lead/lag operation ensuring long equipment life.
The CTC is designed to meet the most stringent acoustic requirements demanded for a computer room application. All cabinet panels are double wall, with heavy density insulation. Battery back up maintains systems set points in the event of power failure. Every CTC is equipped with primary and secondary drain pans.
Air and water-cooled DX models operates on R22 or R407C refrigerant.
Up-flow and Down-flow models are available as per selection.
