Unique Advantage of McCoy Electrolyzer As the first layer accumulation type electrode in Korea, it can be used under all conditions. It can be optionally adjusted from minimum 3 sheets to 20 sheets. Because it is easy to assemble and disassemble the product, it is the only electrolyzer that cleaning and regeneration can be performed on the electrolyzing plates. Depending on its use, it can be changed into titanium or white gold electrode. Because of its insert mold method, there is no leakage or transformation. Moreover, it can maintain horizontality and organization through minimized gap between electrodes and individual sectional diaphragm.

Generally, diaphragm is molded by insert mold method. Therefore, it was hard to expect that diaphragm fulfills its role because its organization is damaged by a compulsory pressure of molding. However, the company's product adopts the method to insert diaphragm after molding. Although other products have problems in maintaining the horizontality, the company's product can maintain it by using separately molded diaphragm. Therefore, the product is admitted as the one, whose gap between pole plates are even and use is convenient.

By installing heat-sinks on both sides, it enable electrolyzer to endure over-electrolysis caused by deterioration of internal water quality and high heat caused by the failure of electric unit, the product can discharge excessive heat generated inside to the outside.

It is a very special device which has never been installed on the basic ion water purifier before. As a patent product which is only installed on our KM-1006, KM-3000, and KM-9000 models, its foremost effect is to remove the smell from the alkaline water and to improve the taste of the water to the best. It is a very important device to prevent calcium carbonate leakage and installed on our four models for the first time in the world. During the washing or when the acidic water comes out to the tap, the water bypasses this device, so you can feel more safe.

Generally, it is not possible to wash the inside of the ion water purifiers. Our products have a function of selecting either auto-cleaning or manual-cleaning, so there would be no alien substances at the electrode board but there would be some calcium carbonate at the septum. Usually, after using about a year in Korea, there should be some alien substances throughout the inside of the water ways, but actually, it has is very hard to clean and we usually leave them as it is. There should be some kind of cleaning function because if it is left for a long time, it would be smelly and not good for hygiene. Also if there are any accumulated  calcium carbonate, you can remove them as follows. 1. Put the filter which is sold separately in the second shaft (Model No, : ION CLINIC-mf-901) 2. Choose the purifying function and let the water flow. 3. Let it flow about 10 seconds and stop the water and leave it for about  20~30minutes. 4.After leaving it for 20 minutes, let the water flow again. Check whether the water flows normally. If you cannot get the normal result after ION CLINIC filtering, you nee to wash the electrolysis cleaning after disassembling.

The most vital part of an ion water purifier is the amount of the water comes from the tap.   If the water pressure is high, there would be more alkaline water, but if it is very low, it might have more acidic water. If this happens it is very hard to get good quality water and sometimes the water flow backwards so the water might be mixed and that’s why there should be a control valve. The ideal rate between alkaline and acidic water is 5.5:4.5, but other companies’ products don’t have this kind of valve and it may damage the purifier. Our products are fitted with this control valve on the down part and it is very easy to control and you can drink the most suitable ion water.

To get the most suitable working condition of this purifier, we have included an incoming water control valve which can control the amount of water coming in detail. When the water gets through the purifier, check the LCD panel and make it not to go over 2 liters/min.

Usually the electrolysis of the ion water purifier chooses a trans or SMPS methods. In this case, the problem happens when there is situation of overflow. Even though there are some devices that can limit the supply of the power, the problem still happens when there is a sudden overflow because of the quality and temperature of the water, rather than consistent overflow. it affects the voltage which is connected to the mycom and the machine can have problems. That’s why we supply separate electric power. We have chosen SMPS method for the mycom part and Troidal trans method for the electrolysis part, hence there is no mutual interference or error when there are some overflows or any voltage changes. Usually when you use Trans method, there always exists the first electric power already which means there is continues power flow and as the result, there are some chances of overheating and microwaves. However, we have chosen an epoch making method to operate the trans in a switching method by the relay when the electrolysis is in working.  Thus, if there is any overflow due to the water quality or temperature, it will immediately measure the electric current and then supply lower voltage. We have chosen the relay style power supply for the first time in the world and it is patented. Also it is fitted with rotary style switch to lower the electric power of the power supply device about 10%, hence it is the only method for the best condition by controlling voltage for about 10%.

Generally people tend to think that if there are large amount of materials, it should be better even though that would depend on the materials used. However a little differences happen when we purify water. Now it is a common knowledge that it is better to put the purifying materials in two tanks rather than put them all in one big tank. It is because that when water get through the purifying materials there will be some obstructions of the waterways, and if it is used for a long time, the effectiveness will drop. The ion water purifiers we make had been chosen from the method of purifying three times, the first of its kind in this business field. The first filter eliminates alien substances and organic compounds which are mixed in water, the second filter uses materials which concentrates on eliminating organic substances, and the third filter eliminates the carbonic acid ion and inorganic substances which are made after the electrolysis. (Patent  No. 539055) After the electrolysis, it removes the acidic materials, the calcium carbonate and inorganic substance, but it still can have electricity which doesn’t happen in normal water. As the result of this, the power to be combined together is very strong and some visible crystals like white salt may appear. If this happens, it may cause some unpleasant smell and if you keep the purified water in a container you can see some sedimentations of calcium or sodium carbonates. But we have chosen the world first method which eliminates all these kinds of symptoms and this is the first ion water purifier device which is good for human body.
