Autoflow valves prevent overflows. This ensures the pumps deliver the
correct flow and keep the power consumption in check, as against manual
balancing valves with higher flow variations and may allow overflows.

Autoflow valve is only required at the equipment unlike manual balancing
valves which are needed at the main and branch pipes and at the equipment.
| Lower Head Requirement
In conjunction with the above item, with lesser number of valves required,
the sum of the pressure loss is reduced thus lowering pump head requirement. |
| Best for Variable Speed
Pumping
Autoflow valves are precision milled by CNC machines to provide a flow
accuracy of +/-5% at any pressure within its control range. They are
therefore more suitable for variable speed pumps unlike manual balancing
valves where accuracy varies with the degree of throttling of the valves.
| Tamperproof Design - Reliability
Autoflow valves do not require any site adjustment and as such, rules out
the possibilities of errors or mistakes made by the commissioning personnel.
| Lower Balancing Labor
Autoflow valves are factory calibrated and do not require any site
adjustment
during testing and commissioning. There is a tremendous saving in time and
labor compared to a project with a few hundred manual valves to balance.
| Space Saving
Autoflow valves do not require any straight length of pipe before or after
the valves. Manual balancing valves require a certain straight length
before and after the valves in order to maintain the rated flow capacity.
